Kiss Me Baby, Our Lives Depend On It!

So, Sandy has been away a few days at a seminar and it got me to thinkin’…I saw a video on Dr.Mercola’s website. It talked about how couples who kiss more stay together longer..or at least have a better shot with the divorce rate close to 50%. It’s worth a look.
I think and believe all married couples should kiss passionately at least once a day. Wouldn’t you agree that the world would be a much calmer place if more people were kissing on a regular basis? I certainly do.
Maybe it doesn’t have to be all out passionate kisses out of the gate, but kisses that last more than a peck! Gradually build up to a crescendo of passionate kisses!
We had interviewed Mort Fertel last year, a marriage and relationship expert on www.HolisticParentsHub.com.
A big part of Mort’s alternative to counseling program is touch charging! The touch charges can do just that…put a charge back in your relationship pretty quickly and easily…if you and your partner are open to it.
It’s a simple loving touch on your partner 3 times a day…each. So for a total of 6 times…you get to touch. Pretty cool huh? I like it. The exercise is designed to bring you back to when you were courting and touching was welcome and fun…remember that. Little tickles, soft strokes, the brush of the back of the hand…ha ha make sure it’s a soft back of the hand.
Like all couples we go through cycles together. I know when Sandy and I are using the touch charges…we are more in tune with each other. Its not always welcome though, with three beautiful blond haired monkeys using us as jungle gyms half the time, more touch might not be the thing we are looking for. So be aware of how your partners feeling.
Anyway you slice it,… affectionate touch, especially kissing,… can be a great thing to help create a stronger bond with your partner:) It also helps with peaceful parenting…being positive all around!
Goal Setting for Kids…

Ever wonder what your child will do for a career when they grow up? How will they determine what they’ll do? Are most people you know living the life of their dreams, working in a field and at a ”job” they are passionate about? Do you know anyone that leaps out of bed in the morning, so excited to get to work? How about you? If you’re like most people, according to statistics,… the answer is no.
What if you had a way that you could turn the tables on that indecision for your children? What if there was a simple “formula” they could follow that would give them a clear picture of what they would like to do for their lives work? Well, goal setting just might be that answer!
Sounds easy enough. Think up a few things, maybe even write them down, and whammy, your there? Well not exactly. There is a definite rhyme and reason to the process.
There was a Harvard study done over a 20-year span, that studied a graduated class. It compared the students that had clear, written down goals, versus the other students that did not, or perhaps never wrote down the goals they had in their heads. The results of the study were amazing! The financial worth was a telling factor. The 5% of the class that had clear, written down goals had a net worth that was higher than the other 95% combined!
Did you get that? Well I did, loud and clear!
Stay tuned as we take a simple step by step journey with our blog, and get you the tools and info you need to get your kids (and perhaps yourself your not in a profession that makes you jump for joy) back in the saddle again, souring towards your dreams!

Have you ever wanted to improve your public speaking skills, or are petrified to speak in public? Why not join your local Toastmasters group?
Mike & I are members of Toastmasters Dining to Speak group in NJ, and we love it! We have been working on eliminating our um’s and ah’s from our speaking, becoming better at organizing a speech to fit into the time frame alotted and making some great friends along the way.
Every speaker teaches us something, not only by the topic they speak about, but also by the constructive supportive evaluation that they receive.
Our group Dining To Speak, also chows down on some great Italian food because we meet in a private room at a restaurant.
Toastmasters is a great forum where you get to practice speaking, even if it is just for 30 seconds or more if you like, once a month to get used to speaking in front of other people.
Many corporations have their own Toastmasters groups to help the employees with their communications skills and presentations too.
It doesn’t matter if you’re young or old, or whatever, Toastmasters is a club that offers support and help for those looking to come out of their shell,… all in a comfortable atmosphere where there are no mistakes or embarrassment!
So go and join you local Toastmasters, and see where it can take you…
